Imagining Creates Reality

A quick-start guide on how to create your perfect life.

You can't get away from your own imagination. You can't get away from it, because that's your own being. That is the reality." - Neville Goddard, The Secret of Imagining

If I had to guess, I'd bet that the first time you felt "alive" may have gone something like this:

You know that feeling before a test, a first-rate competition, a successful business deal, an exciting trip, or a great date? That unshakable confidence before each of these events? Certain that things would work out exactly how you wanted?

And they did?

Before these events, you may not have known the “nitty-gritty” path through which things fell into your lap.

Well, that's because it wasn't something you did by fluke, luck or hard work. The glory doesn’t go to a benevolent universe either. “It” happened as a result of what you imagined. Whatever you felt, wherever you travelled mentally and assumed to be true, created your real-life experience.

Back-up a minute.

Where is your journey unfolding?

In your consciousness (or imagination).  Everything you see, smell, touch, taste, hear, including your body, mind, people, conditions, situations are all within that consciousness.

Yet, there is only one consciousness.

Now, this might sound trippy. But I’m going to share it anyway: Consciousness is the only reality.

'Huh?' You ask, ‘What are you getting at, Anila?’ Hang on; I’ll explain.

Consciousness is "I AM" or your own "imagination" or God or awareness or love.  They are interchangeable terms.

So, who am I?

Well, on the surface, I AM Anila.  But deep inside, not sure how deep, ‘I AM’ is the central identity on which I wear other states, including a state called Anila. It’s all a game of switching ‘states’.

And off we go…

 STATES

A state is nothing but how I relate to the world; it's what I am aware of at any given moment. It’s a character, a temporary identity; just like an outfit you wear, but over your true body of consciousness.

A state you’re wearing is another way of referring to your state of being or state of mind. It’s your awareness of being something at any given moment. It’s how you choose to interact with anything in your world.

Think of the times you were hungry, tired, loving, happy-go-lucky, successful, skilled, or valued. They are all states of that single consciousness. You go through infinite states throughout your day.

You are always wearing a state. And when you have an imagined experience, you shift states. It’s just like trying-on a dozen outfits before going out on a Friday night.

A state produces emotions, thoughts, beliefs, inner (mental) and outer conversations, attitude and experiences

Your desires, choices, sensations, behaviour and actions all come from a state, including meanings you assign, what you think of yourself (self-concept), self-love, dos and don'ts. Look at it this way:

Each state is its own world that has views which are always unique from another state. No two states are the same.

I’m sure you have many dreams, and maybe you don’t believe that all of them can come true.

You’re probably already experiencing some important desires. Although, some, like a private jet might feel out of your reach.  So, how do you get what you want?

In four simple steps.

First, know what you truly want.

Then, imagine a scene that implies that your desire has already happened. What event would follow, and how would that feel, that suggests you now have what you desire?  While sensing it as natural?

For example: If you want to have the latest Audi Q5, imagine your friend congratulating you on being the owner of the car, or fast forward to two years where you're feeling what it would be like to fall asleep in a soft bed after a scenic road trip in that car.

Next, reduce the scene into one single act. A hug, high five, “well done” or “congratulations”, or a silent “thank you” or “isn't it wonderful?”

Don't have a series of events in one scene. You might get distracted by using multiple activities in a scene. To illustrate: don't have a conversation with a friend, then change your venue and meet someone else in a single imaginal scene.

You don't have to be perfect at it.

Imagine from the first-person point of view. If you're experiencing a high five, all you should see of your body is your hand.

You don't see your entire body as though you're watching a movie of yourself.

Now, is your scene ready? Good, next comes the ace in the hole:

Get into a relaxed place, a state akin to sleep. Incorporate all the tones of reality in the scene, using as many senses as possible. Play the imaginal scene over and over until it feels real for you. Once the act feels natural, you let go of it spontaneously.

That’s the key. What it means to live in the end or experience a state of your wish fulfilled.

Knowing that the imagined experience is authentic leads to your real-life experience.

Here’s why I am emphasizing the state akin to sleep (SATS): It is the alpha state of being, which allows you to experience the full extent of your creative skills in imagination. This is just a fancy way of saying:

SATS is that drowsy feeling right before you fall asleep at night, and that groggy feeling as you’re waking up.

You can enter SATS any time while doing mundane daily tasks like brushing your teeth or waiting in line at the grocery store or in traffic. Basically, hundreds of times a day. And experience your desires as soon as they show up.

Alternatively, you can intentionally get into a SATS and have your imagined experience.

Here’s a *SATS Hack*:

Breathe in slowly but deeply until you feel relaxed. You don't need to do this for long; just a minute or two until your beta state (monkey - mind) brain activity pipes down.

Slowly and feelingly repeat ‘I AM’ until you feel your actual natural state of being (‘I AM’) emerging.

It's from this limitless faceless and formless place you imagine ‘as’ God.

Dabble with these types of sessions in the morning, noon and night. Practice your imagined experience until it feels natural

“You change your future best when you are in control of your thoughts while in a state akin to sleep, for then effort is reduced to its minimum. Your attention seems to completely relax, and then you must practice holding your attention within that feeling, without using force, and without using effort.” – Neville Goddard, Lesson 2: Assumptions Harden into Facts, Five Lessons: A masterclass

Be as specific as you want with your desires, but don't feel the need to list every detail of your desire to communicate it to some source that isn't yourself. Doing that implies you're not trusting that God is within you as your imagination, and not outside of you in a sacred site granting requests. In finding the feeling of the wish-fulfilled, all your desired details are included.

And, I daresay, the correct form of praying is surrendering to the wish fulfilled.

Don't think of the wish. Instead, feel and think from the state of knowing it already exists in your life.

"Imagination is the divine body in every man" - William Blake

Imagine dining in Chick-fil-A, for example. You place an order for your spicy deluxe sandwich once, then relax, knowing it's arriving. You’re hungry or in a state of desire before ordering your meal.

Once you know that your order is a done deal, you're living from the end. You’re not waiting for it patiently or impatiently.  In the meantime, you kick back anticipating a delightful dinner, laugh with your friends and sip your ‘diet’ coke.

There’s an interval between the order placed and the arrival of your meal. But are you bothered by the “how”?

Do you go to the kitchen and check on the cooking process or ask the waiter if he has heard the order correctly? Do you wonder if you're worthy of that dish, or question its arrival at your table?

No, you'll let them do their thing.

You simply relax knowing it's coming once it's perfectly cooked. You have full faith in the chick- fil- a process.  And so, the desire for the sandwich ceases to exist.

The knowing sensation that your desire is yours is like knowing your meal is on its way. That’s the feeling of the wish fulfilled or living in the end

Now you know everything.

Okay, you’re dying to talk about the “hows”.  Ironically, it’s not your job to figure out how your desire will come about.

Your desires arrive at an appointed hour, so if you get annoyed that your dish isn't here yet, yell at the kind waiter or leave, the sandwich ain’t coming any sooner or worse, you won’t even get it. Your meal arrives eventually.

So, what about your plan of action? Three words:

Bridge of incidents.

They are logical events that occur, leading you to your desire. It's not your job to manipulate or make them happen.

Imagine from the end. Don't imagine the beginning or the middle of your desire. Don't indulge in thinking of the middles.

The middles are the how, when, what, where. All so muddling.

If you want to be happily married, do you only want a gooey text from the person you love? Or do you want a fulfilling, loving relationship with them, instead?

Feel that you are loved and loving; imagine from that end.

Conditions, people (eye-roll), plans, resources or money are middles.

It's not possible to question the 'how' in the process of manifesting when you know you already have what you desire in your experience.

So, for example:

You've lost your wallet. Feel and touch the wallet in your imaginal experience implying you have it. You’ll sense a satisfying feeling in your belly, once you're sure you have it. You know you have it because you felt yourself clinging to it in your imagination.

If it feels real there, your experience is real.

You're not in your head wondering where said wallet is, nor do you launch a frantic search for it. Instead, you might be drawn to a place where you last left it, a place you couldn’t recall earlier. Or to the same place you swear you checked five times already while cursing.

Although, if you're obsessing over it, you've likely dug up your desire. And so, replant the desire in your imagination. Assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled.

The state you return to most often, especially during unpleasant situations like anxiety or worry, is your dwelling place. So, practice making I AM your home.

Being home is being in the first principle: ‘Be still and know that I am’.

Home is empty, a clean slate. You can choose to design and decorate your house with anything you like. These added decorations are all states.

To experience the "I AM" -ness or God that you are, especially in times of doubt, repeat I AM repeatedly in your mind slowly, until you feel yourself in the faceless, formless, thoughtless awareness.

This sensation will wash away the limited, conditioned state you've worn, and when you want to imagine something you desire, put on a new identity, tension-free.

"The imagination is not a state: it is the human existence itself."

William Blake

Giddy up...

Imagine your wish as soon as it comes up. Don't wait for an auspicious period to experience it. You don't need to write or make recordings or vision boards or list broad goals or sit and meditate for hours or stand upside down or hop one leg for an event to materialize in your physical world.

Did you have to bleed in your journal or record or meditate to experience heartbreak or catch the sniffles?

So, if you’ve experienced your wish fulfilled in your imagination, that is all the evidence you need to know it has already happened.

Gutsy move, no?

After you accept that imagined experience as the truth, you may find yourself saying "It is done" or " Isn't it wonderful" or "Thank you" or “Yeah” or something unpretentious.

In thanking yourself, you're also lovingly acknowledging God and the reality of your imaginal act before the physical world reflects it. The thankful feeling gives you a sense of knowing your creative experience is done.

Your state leads, and all the wondrous life you witness, follow it. It inspires all movement, including the action you take.

If you feel healthy and fit before you notice visible results, you may have an impulse to eat your greens, take a fitness class or diet or none of those activities.

You won’t need willpower, force, motivation or determination. Your behavior will flow without self, peer or parental pressure.

Govern your state, and your life will turn around.

This next tidbit might feel tricky, but I promise it will empower you.

Your physical reality is a reflection of the state you're abiding in consciousness.  Your physical world is a reaction, a mirror to what you’ve felt in your imagination.

Gobsmacked?

I was too.

"Think of the world as a sounding box, echoing and reflecting what you have assumed." - Neville Goddard, The Incarnate Revelation

Knowingly or unknowingly, you imagined and gave birth to a state creating humdrum of your life. This doesn’t mean you need to control or be afraid of the state. Since you imagine every identity, you can change your physical circumstance by changing yourself within.

Stay with me on this.

Say, you don’t like the way you look. Can you fight the reflection in your mirror?

The reflection will change, only when you change yourself once you wear a new state (/outfit/identity).

The physical world (/ dream/ world of Caesar/ Shadow world/ 3 D reality/Echoville/ out there/ physical existence): always reflects your current state of awareness to you.

“Change your conception of yourself and you will automatically change the world in which you live. Do not try to change people; they are only messengers telling you who you are. Revalue yourself and they will confirm the change.” - Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune

Sure, you can fight, manipulate, beg, scream, get depressed with your material circumstances or people; you will create more of the same. You won’t see any significant difference in your physical situations. Not even in your partner.

But you can change the concept that you have of yourself (the internal feeling stuff), and the world will reflect it without protest.

Once you believe in the reality of the imaginal act, your physical world has already changed no matter what your physical senses are telling you.

You might find this odd.

Or even preachy.

But, you’re not your name, nationality, religion, sex, age, career, or political affiliation or your human body. You wear all these identities over the true self (God) that you really are.

The physical world is a delayed reaction to what you're assuming at all times. Don't try to change the mirror, it's an effect. The cause is always your imagination.

Finding this hard to digest? It's okay to hide, shy away or feel defeated; you can be comfortable with the way things are right now.

Everything is working out perfectly, and nothing needs fixing. Your dreams are waiting for you to claim them whenever you're willing to change your perception and reactions within.

When you’re ready... let go of the intoxication of conditions and experience the only existing reality, turn inwards: "Be Still and Know that I AM God."

"All that I beheld, though it appeared without, it was within ... in my own wonderful human imagination, of which this world of mortality is but a shadow." - William Blake

EVERYONE IS YOU PUSHED OUT

Understand how valuable this is.

Everything around you reflects the state of consciousness that you occupy. What you assume of yourself and the world is exactly how you and your physical world will present itself.

Everything and everyone is ‘you pushed out’ including you. Meaning the body you reside in along with other people, and everything in your environment is an extension of "I AM", or consciousness which is the real you.

Are you grasping how important this is?

If you assume a state of being happy and loving, you will read, hear and experience friendly interactions and relationships with every-one

Everyone.

If you believe that things are going sideways, you will experience various events appearing to go wrong.

If you’re aware of being a wealth creator, abundance and success in all forms will be yours. You’ll always experience what you assume or what you're aware of.

“To attempt to change circumstances before I change my own imaginal activity is to struggle against the very nature of my own being, for my own imaginal activity is animating my world. If I believe that I am injured or that others are against me, I have conjured them in my world, and they have to be against me. If I fully believe that all are working towards the fulfillment of my good, they have to work towards the fulfillment of my good. I don’t ask them. I don’t compel them. I simply do it only within myself, and the whole vast world exists within me. Therefore, it is myself “pushed out.” It’s objectified. I don’t have to change affairs; I only change it within myself, and then every one, though I know him or not by name, – it doesn’t really matter, – it’s myself “pushed out.”― Neville Goddard, The Secret of Imagining

It bears repeating. Your Imagination is God.

You had an imagined experience first, and so everything in your life came to exist. Everything you experience in imagination is the only truth; the external world is a mere reflection of what you imagined.

If you can name it, describe it or sense it in your physical world, you've imagined it.

So, imagine, move inside consciousness to assume the state you want.

Ready for more amazement?

Creation is finished

Finished.

Not half done.

Creation is finished now.  All possibilities exist right now.  And each desire contains everything needed for its materialization in the physical world.

All desires come from God; that is God's mode of communication with you. Pretty non-hallucinogenic experience escorting you to the I AM- ness (that you are).

LAW OF ASSUMPTION

Behold a reliably quirky law:

Whatever you believe in and assume as the truth will crystalize into your reality. The Law of Assumption states that the assumption you feel intensely and remain faithful to will harden into the physical world.

So simple.

So true.

Your assumptions harden into physical facts of your world.

(If you’re single or broke or both, tuck that little ditty away, it’s very useful)

In other words, you don't have to wait for an external condition to change to experience your desire right now in imagination. Your state will change if you believe in the feeling of your wish fulfilled.

All you must do is imagine your desire to be true. You don't need to elevate your self-worth or feel good or love yourself or be kind or feel like a victim of karma for your desires to manifest.

"Now, if you keep the law of assumption, you don't have to broadcast what you want; you simply assume that you have it. Although your reasonable mind and outer senses deny it, if you persist in your assumption, your desire will become your reality. There is no limit to your power of belief, and all things are possible to him who believes. Just imagine what an enormous power that is. You don't have to be nice, good, or wise, for anything is possible to you when you believe that what you are imagining is true. That is the way to success." ~Neville Goddard, Believe it in

Positively anticipate what you would feel, see, and hear. Assume what would be felt, seen and heard. Assume what you want. And to the degree it feels natural to know that it's already a part of your life, your assumptions will shape your life.

Contrary to popular opinion, staying positive or negative does not draw out your experiences.

Your daily life will reflect your optimistic or pessimistic assumptions to the extent that you're self-persuaded in them.

More:

Assume you experience open parking spots at the stores, and you will be startled at how fast the world reflects your belief. Whether you feel late for work or assume you’re a successful professional or a fantastic speaker, your life will mirror those convictions.

Let's say you believed you had a carefree childhood; all you had to do was get straight A’s and go to school without any additional responsibilities. Then that’s what showed up in your life in the form of your family, ensuring your comfort.

If you assume that someone is usually critical or controversial, that’s how the individual presents themselves to you.

When you practice the law, it becomes a habit to select your preferences in advance without looking for its proof in your physical world.

It’s compelling.

It's okay if you're feeling dejected that the law isn't working as fast as you want. Know that everything is playing out and guiding you to your desires no matter what your physical senses are conveying to you.

You can, however, decide to reprogram your world when you trust how effective the law of assumption is.

"You cannot persist in wanting what you already have. If you assume you are what you desire to be to the point of ecstasy, you no longer want it. Your imaginal act is as much a creative act as a physical one wherein man halts, shrinks and is blessed, for as man creates his own likeness, so does your imaginal act transform itself into the likeness of your assumption. If, however, you do not reach the point of satisfaction, repeat the action over and over again until you feel as though you touched it and virtue went out of you.” - Neville Goddard, 1948 Lessons Q & A

NO ONE TO CHANGE BUT SELF

Indeed…

You are what breathes life into all your real-life events. Everything you want shows up the way you want it to when you show up for yourself.

And how do you do that?

 Identify.

And let go of patterns of limiting beliefs, blame, guilt (eww), fear by examining your state and revising it into something lovelier.

Imagine, reflect, revise, change state and re-imagine.

You're the director of this grand play, and the play itself. So, everyone is playing a role that you've assigned to them.

But what the heck is revision?

REVISION

Buckle up.

To revise an event, you must forget and forgive it.

Not your usual sense of forgiveness.

What it means is despite the circumstances, you must see, hear and feel only what you want to accept as the truth.

This can seem challenging. But, once you willingly convince yourself that you’ve become what you wanted to feel, the unlovely event will feel less real to you.

If you find yourself in a ‘my world is ending’ state, take a moment to relax and feel what it would be like to assume that your desire is real, in place of that unpleasant event.

Decide and appropriate that state with your imaginal experience.

Have you heard this before?

What you resist persists. So, untangle your feelings to experience the state you prefer. Revise the times you felt uncertain of your chosen identity.

When you don't occupy your chosen state, you've ‘sinned or missed the mark’.  Maybe you fell out of your selected state, or you didn’t assume it in the first place.

Whatever the case, here you be:

The way you interpret an experience dictates the events you create in future. An unlovely state can never trap you without your consent. If you don't like the way you're viewing something, change the way you perceive the event. Negate the meaning. Revise it.

Only when you apply meaning to a thing, the way you feel changes, so the experience of it inadvertently changes. Notice what you're assigning meaning to and how you're responding

If you’ve experienced something unlovely, don't pretend or try to find a way to enjoy it when you know it’s not true. Use Revision, know what you want, and experience it by putting on a state you desire.

No condition or person is here to teach you anything. Lovely or unlovely experiences reflect the state that you're in at that moment. Which brings you to a place you visit all too often - the past.

A memory or a past situation exists only in imagination. Neither physically exist. Remember, Imagination is the only reality?

Whether you're recollecting a memory or planting a new one, it's all imagination, and you have infinite memories to choose from, cook up and experience in imagination.

After revising a situation, you might have a vague memory of it. It may even take some effort to recollect the details, but you’ll no longer identify with the incident.

Continue to obsess over your sorrows, and your future experiences will reflect the same. Revise on the spot or later in a state akin to sleep.

Whether it's your childhood, a break-up or financial worry, change it in your imagination by revising them into something lovely

“As you review your day, it is important to revise each negative reaction so that you can remember it as what you wished had happened rather than storing that memory as it did occur. What you think of with feeling or emotion is an actual fact. That which you experience in the physical world is merely a shadow, reflecting the reality of your imaginal activity. Therefore, when you revise a conversation, an unhappy experience, or a quality about yourself, you are literally experiencing it in reality (your consciousness).” – Neville Goddard

IMAGINE LOVINGLY & REVISION

"Any time you exercise your imagination lovingly on behalf of another, you have done the right thing. But if it is not done in love, there is a question mark, for God is love." – Neville Goddard, The Secret of Causation.

 A little ditty to ponder:

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.

Always imagine lovingly for yourself and others.

Meaning what?

Well, imagining lovely things for another adds to your own experience too. Since there is only one consciousness, you will experience the fruit of desire you planted in imagination.

Imagine 'lovingly' when you meet someone in your neighborhood or street. If that person is feeling down, revise and imagine - how would you feel if you knew they were happier or if their desires were fulfilled?

You don't need to know what their aspirations are.  Just imagine feeling a lovelier version of them in your experience—passing by a disheveled park? Revise it to a beautiful park. Imagine an experience that implies it's now vibrant.

Something else to ponder:

Whenever you have an imagined experience, you're doing it now. It does not make a difference if you label time as past, present or future.

Revise your entire day's events before bedtime. Turn the unlovely events and replace them with lovely realities.

Pick a possibility that feels natural to you. And if it feels real to you, imagine whatever reality you want to experience in place of that unlovely memory.

You can revise any time of the day.

Bumped your foot into a door? Revise it then and there. Tore your shoulder blade a few years ago? Revise it into a lovely experience. You will remember the revised version. And the past unlovely event will feel foggy. Your pounding heart rests.

Know this:

If you criticize, condemn or blame another, you recreate the version of them that you detest.

And yes, all states are valid, all states are ‘love’.

So, take it easy, judge none

“If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.” - William Blake

“Do not be embarrassed when I tell you that you are God. Instead, walk believing you are that important. You don't have to become arrogant, but you must assume you are God. Think about it! Stop believing in God and start believing as God. Do this and the visions will come to confirm your assumption." - NG, The Mystery of Inspiration

Once your state changes, what you see, smell, taste, touch, hear, and experience will change. So, signs show up as shadows of your state.

This is worth tattooing:  Signs follow; they don't precede.

Newsflash!

You don’t need to be cautious about external conditions like the media, news, radio or the movies. They clearly reflect the state you feel.

Leave them alone.

When you switch states, the things you read, listen to or watch inevitably change - either you’ll be disinterested in them, or you won't come across unpleasant news.

If a government, manifesto, news, science, health report or book tells you something, it does not mean that it should be your reality or your truth.  What you experience in your imagination is the only truth.

If you can experience the change of events that happened in imagination, then the shift is 100% real.

A hundred per cent.

So, always make the feeling about you when you have an imagined experience. Don't make it about the desire or the conditions.

Let's say you want to shift to a new home; imagine yourself in the living room of the new house sipping your favorite drink while feeling you're now the homeowner.

Don't feel from the perspective of the real estate agent who may show you the home or the money for the purchase or 'how' you’ll get the house.

“I may not like what I have just heard, that I must turn to my own consciousness as to the only reality, the only foundation on which all phenomena can be explained. It was easier living when I could blame another. It was much easier living when I could blame society for my ills, or point a finger across the sea. and blame another nation. It was easier living when I could blame the weather for the way I feel… But to tell me that I am the cause of all that happens to me, that I am forever molding my world in harmony with my inner nature, that is more than man is willing to accept.  If this is true, to whom would I go? If these are the words of eternal life, I must return to them, even though they seem so difficult to digest. When man fully understands this, he knows that public opinion does not matter, for men only tell him who he is. The behaviour of men constantly tell me who I have conceived myself to be. - Neville Goddard, No one to Change but Self

Consider an example of a desire for warm relationships. Feel 'I am loving and loved by them' instead of imagining that 'they love me’. Now you won’t have room to introduce variables, questions or anxiety. You readily accept the truth of your wish fulfilled.

If you're upset that someone you adore is being unpleasant, notice they are in a temporary state. Don't obsess or gab over why it happened.

There is only one cause, and that is your imagined experience.

If you strive to change others, know that the change will be fleeting since there is no one to change other than yourself.

It’s a lot of work for nothing. But, when you change the feeling of what you assume about them, they will reflect that change. People are, after all, extensions of your stream of consciousness.

Ask yourself how you’d feel if they were in a loving and joyful state. With this imagined experience, how you feel within will change.

The second you shift from perceiving them as angry or unpleasant beings into knowing they are now pleasant, and loving, that’s what they’ll reflect.

Here’s another instance:

You want to be promoted at work. You can make your imaginal experience ‘about’ your boss telling you that you received the promotion. But that would leave space for doubt or stress to creep in.

You may wonder how or when they’ll give you your damned promo.

Avoid that.

And make it about yourself—experience how it would feel to know you're valued at work and enjoying your current job. The desire might still manifest in the same route where your boss will announce your promotion, but you won’t have doubt looming over you. So, you will walk in your world tingling with security and ease.

“ When I say that I was changed, it means that having assumed that I am what the moment denied, what my reason denied, that I remain in that state long enough to make that state stable. So that all of my energies are flowing from that state. I am no longer thinking of that state. I am thinking from that state. ”Whenever I reach that state of stability, watch my world mold itself then in harmony with this inner change...Having moved from one state into the other. I have altered my relationship relative to the world round about, and that changed relationship compels a change in behavior relative to my world. So they have to act differently toward me.” ~Nevillle Goddard, Change the Feeling of I

Here’s the deal about imagining:

Your imagination doesn’t scale the size of your desires. They're all equally easy to manifest, if you naturally accept them.

For instance, a friend in India wanted to work in Norway. Initially, he felt stressed - wondered how this would happen. I told him to imagine what it would feel like, what would be different if he was living in Norway, implying he was no longer in India.

Over a few nights, he fell asleep imagining being in Norway missing his mother's home-cooked zesty potato curry and hearing her voice telling him to eat a healthy diet over the phone.

A week and a half later, his father told him he was getting the passport documents ready to send him to Norway.

And Win!

My friend did not ask or anxiously seek his father's permission to travel abroad. Instead, he moved forward in time and lived from the end of his desire.

Notice what came first.

The Power of Here and Now

Time travel? Is that real? (double eye-roll)

Here’s the juice:

You can practice experiencing various locations and distances by making ‘there’ here, and ‘then’ now.

First, get into a state akin to sleep, and wear any state you want naturally. In your imagination, move around your house or any place in the world.

If you're in your bedroom and perceive from there, where is your kitchen? in terms of distance and location. Now imagine stepping into the kitchen, where will you perceive your bedroom from?

If you're in your dining room, where is the couch in your living room? Direction and distance - where is it from where you are now?

Plop down in your dining room and position yourself on your living room couch in imagination and perceive or feel your house from there. Now think of your dining room from the living room.

The location and distance of each room vary depending on where you perceive from, in consciousness. If you're sitting in the dining room, it will feel differently in imagination when you view from your bedroom and your living room.

When you move in imagination and experience your location from there, that’s your reality.

Practice fast-forwarding your time.

Imagine what it would feel like to experience the next day or the following week. If today is Wednesday morning, what would this afternoon feel like, and then the night?

Next practice experiencing how Thursday, subsequently Friday, and the following Freaky Friday would feel.

Decide how your day went even before it begins.

Or travel ahead in time. Whatever you want.

Sense what it would be like to experience the beginning of summer, then half stuffed turkey for thanksgiving, and next, hurried gift wrapping on Christmas eve. Move through time and experience any period you like. Make ‘then’ now

Some more?

If I am in India, for instance, and desire to be in Miami, Florida; in imagination, I’ll explore the sea breeze, humid air, and see some flamingos.

India will feel far-far away and to my geographical left as I miss my family and friends or think of my house there. Once I've had this experience, the "hows" or details of the process to get there will be of no concern

The new position I feel in my imagination will inspire any action I take - I may buy tickets, or I may receive flight tickets as a gift. That’s the bridge of incidents that will unfold automatically.

This is imperative to know:

You don't have to try or be happy 24 x 7. Don't have to struggle to be positive. Happiness or positivity isn't responsible for your creative experience.

So, take responsibility for your physical events and decide to feel your ideal desire as natural and real.

Another thing...

You’re not here to learn lessons; you're here to trust your imaginal act fully and live from that reality. To know ‘imagination’.

No matter what kind of conditions you face, you never stop being God

Never.

Of course, you may encounter instances that will throw you out of your state. It’s all a part of the "human" experience.

If something annoys you or upsets you, fully experience that anger or emotion. Allow it to pass but don't try to stop it or label and ruminate over it.

It's a temporary state that you can discard without force, and switch to your chosen identity.  Remove the meaning and revise; create a new memory in place of the old. The new reality will be what you assume.

DENY THE EVIDENCE OF YOUR SENSES

“Imagination is the real and eternal world of which this vegetable universe is but a faint shadow.” - William Blake

Note...

Your physical senses only reflect what you've been feeling in your imagination.  Any fact regarding ‘x’ that you see is a shadow of your assumptions about ‘x’.

So, are facts not set in stone?

In fact, facts are malleable once you change your assumptions.

If you like the events, keep them, if you don't, discard them by revising into something lovely.

Life is a game. And you're exploring who you really are, which is God.  Imagine deliberately throughout your day. Toy with it. Speaking of which, a quick sidebar:

Let’s say you tried to manifest small things and didn’t see any physical results. Here, you probably analyze what you’re doing wrong, or why it works sometimes and no other times.

Why are others manifesting effortlessly? Are you the exception to the law of assumption?  Will it…?

But where…?

Halt.

Explore the underlying cause - your root assumption of what you're imagining, the questions will poof, vanish.

What are you assuming to be true? That’s the state you abide in.

You might be residing in the state of the wish fulfilled. And trusting yourself one moment, and turning towards the physical world in the next, wondering why it's not there yet.

Fully possess the state of the wish fulfilled by knowing you have the desire, then the craving for the desire dies out. That is true detachment. How you let go.

Do you believe your manifestations have already come true or do you have a desire to believe they’ve come true? Accept the former, and you're living from your wish fulfilled.

If you’re bothered by a current condition in your physical world, go within, and change your state. A bridge of events will unfold once you're in your chosen state.

Let’s say, you want to travel to a foreign country, and you imagine an experience that implies you've visited it. Then you book a flight ticket, and it gets cancelled.  The flight cancellation is also a bridge of incident to the state of your fulfilled desire.

The bridge may seem to contradict the path to your wish but know and trust it's all leading you to your dream no matter what.

If you're worried that the bridge is taking you in the opposite route, you've vacated your state.  So, just occupy it again.

"The man who is conscious of being healthy (not because of inherited health, diets or climate, but because he is awakened and knows the state of consciousness in which he lives) will, in spite of the conditions of the world, continue to express health. He could hear, through the press, radio and wise men of the world that a plague was sweeping the earth and yet he would remain unmoved and unimpressed. "- Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune

METHODS/TECHNIQUES

“What is now proved was once only imagined.” - William Blake

This may or may not add anything to your life.

Still, the entire project can be framed into “What would it feel like if your desire were true?” This experience will dissuade you from checking if it’s fictitious or real.

Whether it be a small desire or a big important one, apply this question to ‘feel your ideal desire is real’

Whatever the case, the point is, if you experience it in feeling, then that’s your life experience.

‘Feeling’ is the long-lost secret. It’s how you experience your world whether you do it knowingly or unknowingly.

 Want more examples?

Suppose you're hungry. You experience having already eaten a flavorful meal, so you move towards the kitchen or go to Chick-fil-a to eat.

Thinking of a friend? You find your hands picking up the phone to text or call them. That’s how imagination operates.

I suppose now is a good time to tell you:

This is not a one-time quick fix manual.

This isn’t a 9-5 Job. It’s not a technique.

Make “imagining” your lifestyle, as natural as breathing.

Anyway, implement any of the following techniques to assume the state of the wish fulfilled:

First Principle: Be still and know that I am God. Use when in doubt, anxiety, and even when you're having a great day.

State akin to Sleep (SATS): The relaxed state that you feel several times a day when you're comfortable, breathing deeply, or when you're drowsy. The state where you're experiencing daydreams or making castles in the air.

Golden Rule: When you're doubtful, always imagine lovingly for yourself and another. Everyone is you pushed out, and they only reflect a concept of yourself.

I AM meditation: With feeling repeat, I AM during the day or before falling asleep.

Wish fulfilled/ Fast forward: Imagine how your day went before it starts. Move forward to a different time on the same day, the next day or the next month or five years from now celebrating your wedding anniversary to experience your wish fulfilled.  Decide how you want to feel in each of those timestamps in advance.

Revision: Revise any ongoing event or a memory that is unlovely or even average.

Revise an unpleasant experience by circumventing it and creating a new memory in its place.

Example if you receive an unnerving text, you don't have to touch it, but rather feel the experience of you reading a book or article instead.  Revise it immediately on the spot or after the event has occurred from the naked state of I AM.

Cultivate a habit of Revising during the day and revising your entire day before you fall asleep.

I Remember When: Remember your current state as a far-off memory while you imagine from your wish fulfilled. Use this to switch into a new state. “I remember when I argued with a friend”, implying that I now have a loving friendship with that person.

Eavesdropping:  Imagine overhearing a conversation between two or more people discussing your success of having your wish fulfilled.

How: How did they do that? How did this happen?!  Ask and FEEL the question in anticipation of it already having happened versus from seeking a solution or an explanation.

Lullaby: Isn't it wonderful/Thank you- With feeling as soon as you've occupied the state of having your desire, silently sense "Isn't it wonderful?/Thank you".

Congratulatory scene: Feel how you would feel when another congratulates you or vice versa, implying your desire is fulfilled. "Way to go" or Congrats" on your new promotion!

Mirror: Look in the mirror, and see yourself in a vibrant, healthy, and a fit body free from your old limiting beliefs.

You can also see yourself experiencing your wish fulfilled through another person's lens or perspective.

Think about this:

Your world is a personalized adventure exclusively catered by your imagination. Be conscious; Imagine all day every day. You have nothing to lose and it costs nothing. All you must do is implement your creative skills and participate.

“I cannot promise that, if you accept this one hundred percent you will not have a headache tomorrow, or that the boss will not fire you. But if you accept this, you will know that your boss had no choice in the matter. You will know that you caused the firing. Maybe your dreams transcended your present limited position in that business, and only by being fired could they be realized.” - Neville Goddard, Freedom

 Let me summarize for you.

God is Within you.

Nothing exists outside of you that you've not imagined.

When you feel like an external thing is creative power in your life, you're making it a false god and disempowering yourself.

The entire world, including everyone in it, is ‘your own being pushed out’; it's an extension of your belief system.

Neither the Universe nor a God outside provides you with anything. Religious facilities or their Gods don’t deliver anything to you. (Shocker!)

The Universe is dead; yup, dead as a doorknob. You breathe life into it by imagining something and accepting it as the truth. You are 100% responsible for everything that you experience.

The point being you create the experience of everything that you're aware of in life as a result of what you may have imagined five minutes ago, months ago or years ago.

It's not that a belief will result in only one specific life experience.

All beliefs intermingle or operate together, resulting in outward experiences that reflect the whole body of beliefs/assumptions and everything they imply, good, bad, or indifferent.

You are the only cause of everything in your existence.

I know it might seem like a giant decision to acknowledge yourself as the God of your reality.

Are you feeling frightened or guilty due to your prior concept of God? Recognize where you're experiencing this feeling - in your imagination.

To practice this non-dualistic way of life, you must give up any belief in a secondary cause(dualism). Idol worship, crystals, signs, prophecies, luck, destiny, fate, or placing yourself in the hands of any form of external power? Abandon them.

You cannot serve two masters. There is only one reality, and that is imagination.

Be willing to take responsibility and claim the state you desire. Your abundance will increase on all fronts.

Creation is finished. Everything you ever want already exists.

"All things are possible to God. Go within and appropriate it… just completely appropriate it, and see it unfold within your own vast, marvelous world." - Neville Goddard, The Secret of Imagining

Occupy a state you desire, and you will unmask that creation. Always make the feeling about you, not the thing or person you want.

There's no need to align your energies, raise vibrations, tune into anything, or pray to an external source or Universe. Trying to connect to something to create your desire implies you can disconnect from some ‘external’ source of power.

You may experience feelings of disconnection, but you don't stop being God. You are always God experiencing a state

You don't need to abstain from anything, fast, sacrifice or struggle to connect to anything. You don't require any external action or means to ‘change’ your state of being.

If you're in an unlovely state, your actions will be unpleasant, but you’re still ‘I AM’ wearing a temporary state. Your state will always lead, and your behavior follows it. Separate the person from the state. Unknowingly you may slip into an unlovely state but recognize that it's not who you are.

When you assume a loving state of your choice, you are God spreading love and peace within yourself and others.

In trusting that you're God, you are also thanking and appreciating God, which is your imagination.

Invest in your imagination. Watch how this project will change your life forever. And, don't take my word for it. Test it; prove it for yourself. Empower yourself with the truth of your discovery.

All right, back to stuffing myself with raspberry cheesecake.

I'm out…

for now.

“The difference between feeling yourself in action, here and now, and visualizing yourself in action, as though you were on a motion-picture screen, is the difference between success and failure.” - Neville Goddard,  Out of This World

“Remember, creative power will not operate itself. Knowing what to do is not enough. You, imagination’s operant power, must be willing to assume that things are as you desire them to be before they can ever come to pass.” – Neville Goddard, Divine Signs
